A rare copy of the first monograph on the architect and thinker, Adolf Loos, written by his disciple, Heinrich Kulka, published in 1931 by Anton Schroll & Co. in Vienna; the fourth volume in the series " Neue Bauen in der Welt". This is likely the softcover first edition rebound in hunter green leather boards, with the original front wrapper pasted on front boards. Light bumping and chipping to boards. Considerable rubbing and light soiling to front cover. Lean to spine. Foxing to edges of text block, as well as all leaves containing texts, the all leaves containing images are clean and bright. Large open tear to series title page.
