Square 8vo (8” x 8”), 18 pages with embossed and printed wrappers, with a monochromatic photograph of the architect along with photos and drawings of several of his key projects, including the Gunma Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts; the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art; the Fujimi Country Club; and of course the Hauserman Showroom. Introductory essay by architectural critic C. Ray Smith. Inscribed in pencil on the front cover by Isozaki to Camila and Earl McGrath. Earl Mcgrath was a record producer and art gallerist in Los Angeles and New York who mingled socially with art world, music industry, literary and Hollywood celebrities. His wife Camila, an Italian Countess, photographed the same, publishing a well-received book of her period images in 2020. Light rubbing and soiling to extremities.
